Before joining LifeShield, he spent more than seven years in business development across the MENA and APAC regions. His earlier career in project management and finance was grounded in Germany and Luxembourg.
Kun Wang leads Clinical and Medical Affairs at LifeShield China, overseeing clinical strategy, study design, and medical evaluation for the company’s cardiovascular and life‑support technologies. With experience in clinical research management and medical translation, Kun bridges engineering innovation with patient‑centered clinical application. His work ensures that LifeShield’s products meet rigorous scientific, ethical, and regulatory standards from early development through post‑market evaluation.

Prof. Steinseifer received his doctorate in mechanical engineering from RWTH Aachen University and held senior leadership roles with global medical technology companies before returning to academia. He led Cardiovascular Engineering at the Helmholtz Institute of RWTH Aachen University as a full professor until his retirement in 2025.
His work focuses on artificial organs, heart and lung assist systems, and heart valve technologies. He has published more than 200 journal articles, holds more than 120 patents, co-founded seven medical technology and engineering ventures, and has held leadership roles with ISMCS and ESAO. He also contributes to DIN and ISO standards for cardiac valves and circulatory support devices.
